Do I have to run or can I walk?

You can run or walk or both.

Do I have to run or walk the whole time?

No. You can stop whenever you need to. You can stop when you reach your goal. You can stop if you need to take a break and then start again (but the clock keeps running). You can stop to enjoy the scenery. We just need you to tell us when you are finished so that we can record your mileage and so we don't send someone out looking for you. You also have to stop at one of the three disignated aid stations.

Are there any minimum distances that I have to run?

The distance is up to you and your fitness level and goal.

Are strollers allowed on the course?

Strollers are not allowed on the trail.

Can a friend ride along with me on a bike?

Sorry, bikes are not allowed on the trail.

Can my dog run with me?

Dogs are great running partners but they are not allowed on the trail.

Why such an odd start time?

We do not have any control over when the sun comes up.

Can I have a pacer run with me?

To avoid crowding on the trail, pacers are only allowed in the 24 hour an 15.5 hour and only after after 2:00PM after the other two races are finished. See 'PACER INFO' below for more info.

Where can I leave a drop bag?

There will be tarps laid out at the start/finish line for drop bags. You will pass them every lap.

Will there be massage after the race?

Better than that! There will be massage throughout the day at the start/finish line. Christine Wolf from Restore U Solutions will be there all day to work out your knows and get you back on the trail.

What happens if it rains?

You get wet.

Will my drop bag get wet if it rains?

Probably. Assume it will and pack accordingly.

Are there any water crossings?

There are no water crossings on the course...but there may be puddles if there has been a lot of rain.

When and where can I pick up my registration?

You can pick up your registration Friday, 4:00-7:00 pm and Saturday, starting at 3:30 AM at the start finish area at Camp Sinawa

Can I have someone else pick up my registration for me?

Yes.

Are there places to watch and cheer on the runners?

Yes, you are welcome to cheer them on anywhere on the course. We just ask that you keep the start/finish area clear and don't block access to the drop bag tarps.

Is there food for spectators?

The food that is at the aid stations is for the hungry runners. I wouldn't try taking anything from them! It will be much safer to bring your own snacks

Is there a meal for the runners after their race?

Yes. We will have a simple meal of burgers, chips and drinks for all runners. Crew may purchase a meal.

Where can we park?

There is parking near the start/finish.
